Inveniam viam avt faciam - I will find a way or make one. My high school (Holton-Arms) motto has become a way of life for me.
After relocating to Providence from the Maryland/DC area in 2008, I fell in love with Rhode Island. Our beaches, our cities and towns, our wildlife, our artists and athletes, and our incredible cuisine - the smallest state really has an embarrassment of riches. My clients trust me to advise them not only in real estate, but also in local resources and entertainment. Since transitioning from the field of Education to Real Estate, I have earned the REALTORS(R) Commitment to Excellence endorsement, certification as both a Pricing Strategy Advisor and an Accredited Buyers' Representative, and the Circle of Excellence Bronze Sales Award. I am very proud that 100% of my clients have given me 5-star reviews, whether buyers or sellers. My ultimate goal is to delight my clients!
With an undergraduate degree in Anthropology & Fine Arts (with a concentration in Contemporary African Art) from Amherst College and a master's in education from the University of Maryland, my personal interests are varied. I enjoy reading, hiking, weightlifting, concerts, travel, photography, and birding. I also boast an impressive shoe collection.
I live on the East Side of Providence with my husband Terry, our dog Fergus (half Golden Retriever, half Bernese Mountain Dog), and our rescue cat Cosette. We have grown children who live in Boston and Denver. Being active in the community is important to me; I serve on the Boards of the Community Libraries of Providence and the Jewish Day School of RI, and I am a member of the Development Committee for the RI Center for the Book. I am also a Certified Wildlife Transporter for the Wildlife Rehabilitators' Association of RI. In addition, I hold alumni leadership roles at both of my alma maters, Holton-Arms and Amherst College.
